Ordering for the festive season
The groups make festive hampers to order, and October is the pinch point — the same fortnight decides whether a box ships on time. Festive orders need to reach us byearly October to hold the standard lead time. After that we can usually still help, but only with whatever the groups have already produced.
Rakhi and Diwali both fall in this window. If your requirement is over 500 units, talk to us in August.

What changes as the order grows
Price per unit falls with volume, but the things that really change are lead time, packaging and how much of the build is bespoke.
25–100 units
Small teams
2–3 weeks from confirmation
- Hampers built from the standing catalogue, or an assortment you pick yourself.
- One printed card carrying your message, inserted in every box.
- Single delivery address, or a short list of up to five.
- GST invoice issued against your company name.
100–500 units
Company-wide
3–4 weeks from confirmation
- Assortment agreed item by item, with a written quotation and a sample box before the run.
- Hampers mixed across several groups, so one box can carry pickle, soap, honey and a handloom cloth.
- Individual-address dispatch to multiple offices or to employees directly.
- A group-credit card naming which groups made that particular hamper.
500+ units
Programme orders
6–8 weeks from confirmation
- Production slots booked with the groups in advance, so the volume does not land on one unit.
- Bespoke packaging: jute or recycled board, printed sleeve, and your artwork on the box label.
- Staged dispatch across two to three weeks to suit your distribution schedule.
- A named contact at Saahvi for the length of the order, and a costed reconciliation at the end.
Every tier is quoted individually, because the unit price depends on what is in the box rather than on the count alone. Freight is quoted by destination city. Retail delivery is free above ₹799 for a single box; bulk dispatch is always quoted separately.
What goes in the box
One hamper, several villages
A hamper is not limited to a single group or a single category — which is usually the point.
A festive box can carry a jar of mango pickle from Depalpur, wild honey from the Sahyadri hills, a neem soap from Harnaut and a handloom runner from Bhujodi. Each product comes from a different group, and each is packed at the group’s own unit before the courier collects it.
Because nothing sits in a central warehouse, a mixed hamper is assembled at the last group’s unit from goods the others have dispatched, then sealed and labelled. It adds two days to the lead time and it is the reason the money reaches four villages instead of one.
- Food, textiles, handicrafts and personal care can be mixed in one box.
- Non-veg and veg items are never packed together, and each label states which it is.
- Every hamper carries a card naming the groups whose products are inside.
Packaging
Jute bags, recycled board boxes and paper tape. The only plastic in a Saahvi box is whatever the courier insists on for the shipping label. Boxes are sized to the hamper, not padded out to a standard carton.
Your branding
Send us your artwork and message, and we will print the card, insert it and put your name on the box label. For 500+ units we can print a sleeve or a bespoke box in your colours. Cards are printed on recycled board in your own typeface where the licence allows it.
Dispatch
Single-location delivery or individual addresses across India. Large orders are dispatched in stages so your distribution schedule is not waiting on one truck.
