About this product

Ragi flour, wholewheat, jaggery and butter, baked in small batches so the cookies reach you within a week of coming out of the oven. Ragi has a natural bitterness that jaggery softens without hiding — this is a grown-up biscuit, not a sweet one.

What we check before a product is listed

Four things we do not compromise on, because a handmade product is judged on all of them.

No preservatives in food
Pickles are cured with oil and salt, not vinegar and stabilisers. Bakery is dispatched within a week of baking.
Azo-free dyes in textiles
Reactive and natural dyes only, printed and dried in shade so the colour bonds to the fibre instead of sitting on it.
Cure times are respected
Six weeks for cold-process soap, four weeks for pickle, three weeks for lemon. Shortening these is how a handmade product is made to look handmade.
Batch-tested where it matters
Honey, ghee and spices are tested for adulteration before packing, and the report is available on request.

Are these suitable for a diabetic diet?
