Sago soaked, mashed and rolled, with cumin, rock salt and a little green chilli. Because it contains no grain, this is the papad the group makes specifically for fasting weeks — and the one that sells out fastest around Navratri and Ekadashi.

What we check before a product is listed

Four things we do not compromise on, because a handmade product is judged on all of them.

No preservatives in food
Pickles are cured with oil and salt, not vinegar and stabilisers. Bakery is dispatched within a week of baking.
Azo-free dyes in textiles
Reactive and natural dyes only, printed and dried in shade so the colour bonds to the fibre instead of sitting on it.
Cure times are respected
Six weeks for cold-process soap, four weeks for pickle, three weeks for lemon. Shortening these is how a handmade product is made to look handmade.
Batch-tested where it matters
Honey, ghee and spices are tested for adulteration before packing, and the report is available on request.
